Koala beach towels are made using eco-friendly methods and all natural materials. What makes Koala towels so different? Because Koala towels are flat woven, it means they're 70% more compact than a usual bath towel, they dry quicker and sand shakes off easily. They're handloomed making each one unique. The cotton we use (GMO free) has long fibres. This means there's fewer joins in spinning yarns,

which results in stronger and smoother cotton threads. What's up with the tassels? The tassels and fringes in the beach towels are a very important part of the weave. They pull together the absorbent cotton yarn and seal the edges, replacing the extra stitching that usually comes with finishing off a towel. The vertical white yarn that runs through the length of the towel is woven into the horizontal colours, hand cut and tied in a knot. Did you say they get softer? Similar to a fine wine, premium cotton gets better with age. The more you use and wash your Koala handloomed beach towels, the softer and more absorbent they become.
