Thrilled to have attended the 14th Annual Investment Meeting AIM Congress last week in Abu Dhabi, UAE. While I wasn’t able to attend many of the panel sessions and keynotes, it was a pleasure to be there alongside the Verimpact team — Spyros Kouvelis, Christina Deligianni, and Marina Deligianni — shaping the future of sustainable investment and impact. 🌍💼

Exciting to see how platforms like AIM are driving global dialogue on ESG, green growth, and inclusive economic development.

Looking forward to continuing these conversations.

It is with a heavy heart today that we say goodbye to our dog, Kelly.

This day came much sooner than we expected but Kelly was one of the main reasons why Unwrapped came to exist in the first place. It was through his own skin allergies that I discovered chemicals and their impact on our skin. This further led me to learn about plastic and its effect on people and the planet. Knowing that I wanted to have a greater impact and a purpose in this life, I gave up my career in law to pursue one in sustainability, helping companies and people to do the right thing too! It's been a journey and change is hard, but I am so happy to wake up every day, loving my job(s) and knowing I am doing the right thing.

Goodbyes are really hard too ... RIP Kelly 💔

Better late than never!

As you may (or may not know), Unwrapped is so much more than:

➡️ a sustainability and B Corp consultancy;
➡️ a corporate yoga offering; and
➡️ a natural product and corporate gifting store!

Most of you have used us for just one of the above services - but, as these services are interlinked and complimentary to each other, we have now merged them all under the same umbrella!

It has taken some time (and is in its final stages) to redesign our new website and figure out how we will be able to provide all our offerings to you in a way that makes sense!

Watch this space - great things are coming!

All too often I hear that governments aren't doing enough, businesses needs to change their ways!

I completely agree!

However, we also can't ignore the fact that we too, on an individual and community level need to change as well! We need to be more aware of the impact of our actions and educate those around us so that we can be good role models and help drive the change!

Its a team effort at the end of the day!

You are probably already familiar with certifications like organic, fair trade or a LEED certification for a building. B Corp Certification is to entire business entities what USDA Organic Certification is to food products or Fair Trade to coffee.

The difference is that it looks at the WHOLE organization and its intention is to make it easy so that us as consumers can differentiate between a good company and simply good marketing!!! Because the truth is if you buy an organic apple, it doesn't tell you anything about who picked it or how they're treating their employees. Whereas B Corps have demonstrated the highest standards of social and environmental performance.
The B stands for “benefit,” and refers to benefiting workers, the community and the environment and I personally believe that BCorps are a representation of what a sustainable business could be: the concept of using business as a force for good.
