She asked for a moment to talk to me, she looked at me and said:
"You know even us old people watch what is on Facebook?
When I heard you would be speaking, I had my doubts. I asked if it was the same Mwizukanji... lol"
My heart dropped. I braced myself.
Then she said:
"But after this presentation I have a whole different perspective about who you are. I may have judged you on social media but am so proud of the woman you have become."
I got so emotional.
Because the personal growth I fought so hard for in private... is visible. Even to our mothers.

I'm not perfect.
But thank God I'm not who I was.
To every woman who's been misunderstood online:
Keep growing. Keep healing. Keep showing up.
The world is watching, The mothers are watching. The daughters are watching.
And one day, someone will say, "I was wrong about you.
I'm proud now."
From social media... to substance.
From doubts... to "I'm proud of you."
God did that for me and may he do it for you too🤎
