Ennie Makunike popularly known as Matshu was born and raised in Bulawayo being a 4th born in a family of 5. She acknowledges well that it has been a long, stressful and tiresome journey. For her, the biggest challenge is - she's trying extra hard to have a favorable work-live balance. Knowing well how it is for SMEs and owner managed enterprises are in this Zimbabwean economy.

Understanding well that mentorship in very critical in her industry, Matshu acknowledges that Sis Betty the stylist mentored her well back in the 90’s and in turn she has also committed to mentor the next generation young ladies in the industry.

While God has to be her foundation and the center of it all, Ennie has had to include hard work, persistence and consistency in her craft. It is not a walk in the park to build your career or business from the groundup. It's Matshue goal orientation and goal getting that has now made her believe that the hassle was painful but definitely worth it.

Being a family person herself, Matshue is relaxed by having the company of her family at the end of each day to charge for another eventful day tomorrow.
