Retail Manager Position
A well-known luxury brand is looking for a Retail Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Retail Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of operations and sales. You will also be required to deal with human resources, marketing, customer service and targets.
Responsibilities and duties:
• managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency;
• managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control;
• analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales ;
• dealing with staffing matters
• responding to customer complaints and comments;
• Active on the sales floor
• maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
• initiating changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market;
Requirements:
• 5-7 years managerial experience in retail
• Matric Qualification
• Excellent Negotiation and Communication Skills
• Ability to drive and reach sales targets with the team
• Customer service and rapport building skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire team
• Computer Literacy (POS, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
