OFFICIAL UPDATE: VEU MEETS EMFULENI ARTS & CULTURE ✊🏾🎭

VOICE OF THE VOICELESS. ACTION OF THE ARTIST.

VEU leadership from Zone 7 | Zone 14 | Polokong Branch | LGBTQ+ Caucus met with Emfuleni Arts & Culture Department to address community concerns.

Concern: Vaal artists were excluded from the Kota Festival lineup at Emerald Casino.
Outcome: Our concerns was received with respect. Engagement was constructive and solution-focused.
Next: Official press release with agreed outcomes coming soon from Kota Festival organisers. VEU will share with all branches immediately.

VEU Position: We engage to build, not destroy. When artists are excluded, we sit at the table and find solutions.
