The Dream Reins Hobby Horse Event is happening this weekend!

📅 6th & 7th June 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Noordhoek Riding Club – Dressage Arena

This is going to be a fantastic opportunity for all Cape Town hobby horse enthusiasts to get together, meet fellow riders, make new friends, and enjoy a fun day of hobby horsing!

✨ Bring your own hobby horse or use one provided by Dream Reins.
✨ Jump the show-grade hobby horse jumps.
✨ Suitable for beginners and experienced riders alike.

🐴 What a busy and exciting month May has been at Cindy's Hobby Horses! 🐴

In addition to the incredible 15 Dream Rein Hobby Horse Parties & Events' hobby horses that found their way to their new home in Cape Town, these 5 CHH horses have also trotted off to their happy new owners over the past month. Thank you to every rider and family who chose a Cindy's Hobby Horse to be part of their adventures!
May was one of the busiest months we've ever had, and I couldn't be more grateful for all your support, orders, photos, and enthusiasm from the hobby horse community.

June is already off to a flying start! We are hard at work on the first group of June orders, and there are lots of exciting things coming up.

⭐ Special Edition CHH Dakota will be available this month via Facebook auction, so keep an eye on the page for more details! And that's not all... I'm already busy creating July's Special Edition horse, and I can't wait to reveal what I've been working on...🦓

✨ Behind the scenes at Cindy’s Hobby Horses ✨
This is where the magic happens… Our little studio has been buzzing with creativity lately, and we thought we’d give you a sneak peek into the spaces where each hobby horse is carefully brought to life.
From cutting and stitching to filling and detailing - every step happens right here, with lots of love (and a bit of mess in between 😉).
We’re also excited to share that the first group of April horses is officially ready for airbrushing/shading. This is where their personalities really start to shine, and we can’t wait to see each one come to life.
And then… something extra special 👀
I've finally started working on a hobby horse idea that’s been in the back of my mind for a long time - and it’s turning into something truly unique. A special edition release that will soon be available for sale… Trust me, you’re going to want to see this one.

This month, 10 custom Cindy’s Hobby Horses were handmade with love and completed for their new owners. Each horse was made to order, with some unique colours, markings, and details tailored to bring each new owner's dream to life.

The February herd clearly thought “February” was just a suggestion… 😂 But they’re finally ready! All 7 hobby horses are finished and already on their way to their new homes.
The Cindy's Hobby Horses workshop is now busy with the very large March herd, as we’re back to making hobby horses full-time for 2026! 🙌
We’re currently taking up to 15 orders per month, while leaving a little space for some of my own designs to keep in stock.
