Due to severe water restrictions in the Western Cape, No Sit Sherlock has not been able to produce their hand printed silkscreen work for a very long time, as the screens require power hosing for cleaning, which is illegal under current circumstances. We have revisited our designs and will soon be producing exquisite limited edition table cloths that are digitally printed. We hope you will enjoy some of the designs that will be loaded during the course of the next month. So watch this space ...

We are very proud of the results of a fundraiser Lisa Goss did with No Sit Sherlock. She had an idea and designed cushions covers with a beagle design. The design contained all the names of beagles rescued and rehomed by Hester Pescivolo in the time that she worked with Beagle Rescue SA. (Lisa, please correct me if I'm wrong.) In total we hand-printed and made up 44 continental cushions (80x80cm) and 55 scatters (50x50cm) in bull denim, finished with piping and quality zips - 100% machine washable. Not only did she boost our tiny business, but she collected a whopping R7000 for charity!!! That's the stuff that makes a small business like ours jump with joy! Well done Lisa! No Sit Sherlock is delighted to be printing a lovely order of cushions and doggie pillows for Beagle Rescue in SA. This is a design made by Lisa Goss who is a champion for the cause. Her design is made up of all the names of Beagles rescued and rehomed under the guidance of Hester Pescivolo between 2013 and 2016. These cushions (scatters of 50x50cm and doggie pillows of 80x80cm) are in her memory, and it also assists with fundraising for the cause. Should you also want one of these limited edition cushions, you can get into contact with Lisa at [email protected]. PLEASE NOTE: this is only the design. As soon as the cushions have been assembled, I will post a new picture of the end product. It will be printed on durable and washable bull denim with piping and a zip to make it easy to wash.

We printed this the "evil kitty" gift bag a while ago. It was originally imagined as a gift bag, but our friend Marian then used it as a book bag (and she gave a few to some of her other book loving friends). She uses it to keep her books clean and safe when going to the beach and the pool. No sand between the pages, not curled up pages from getting battered in a beach bag. What a brilliant use of a practical little bag! We just love it! We are imagining many new designs and uses for this. It would also work well for fresh veggies, especially if - like us - you really don't like plastic or polystyrene. You can keep your strings of beads, or a delicate scarf in it when you travel. Keep shaving equipment together inside your vanity bag (it is machine washable) ... There are many practical uses, but we love the book bag the most. Dankie Marian!

There will be a No Sit Sherlock table in Stellenbosch today! You will find it in the art school's quad. The Visual Arts building is in Victoria Street. We have a selection of new and fun t-shirts (tank tops) for guys and girls. The "badass bunny" has become a favourite No Sit Sherlock design and the pitt bull puppy is a new design, done by Grace. We love it! As always, each item is unique!
