Let’s brighten our children’s learning journey with colour.

To brighten the day, we recommend our Colours Colours Colours Box:
• 500g tub play dough including 5 different colours
• Packet of 400 coloured wooden match sticks
• Flower shaped palette with different compartments – roll the play dough into balls and place them in the plate. Stick the matching coloured wooden sticks into the ball of dough.

• EVA foam 10 colour wheel with matching dots – match the dots with the correct colour wedge.

• 3 x A4 laminated Dino cards – each dino gives a fun description of what he needs.
• Packet of 24 x assorted colour chenille pom poms to be placed on the dinos bodies.

How do we sharpen our little ones literacy, math and science skills? By learning Shapes.

Here is what we recommend to build those skills.

Shapes Box:

• Denim zipper bag
• 81 piece various coloured shapes – there is no right or wrong, build your own puzzle with these shapes and store them neatly and safely in your denim bag.

• 10 laminated shape cards
• 500g tub assorted coloured play dough (5 different colours) – using your shape cards, build the shapes on the cards with your play dough.

• A4 laminated shapes pizza card
• 20 EVA foam shapes (4 different shapes – 5 each) – use your shapes as toppings on your pizza dough card.
• White board marker – record the quantity of each shape used to build a pizza in the space provided on the pizza card. Wipe clean and play again.

Use your Llama cubes in conjunction with your Shape cards in the Shapes Box and build the shapes on the card.

As the new school year is about to start, so is the prepping of classrooms and playrooms, whether you are a teacher, homeschooler or a parent looking for extra stimulating activities for your kids.

Clever Little Llamas will be doing a series of “What do we recommend” posts, to make the prepping a little bit easier and guide you through the process.

What do we recommend for the little kiddos learning the alphabet, starting to form letters, build words and read?

- Alphabet Fun Box

• A4 Laminated alphabet page – guideline for shaping the letters with your pipe cleaners
• Packet of 20 pipe cleaners

• 26 Alphabet EVA foam flowers with glitter letter centre
• 26 Alphabet EVA foam stems engraved with letters – match the stems with the flowers

• 56 laminated bilingual Alphabet picture cards to be matched together to build the rainbow and complete the centre picture.
