Better Late Than Never

The G43 gave German troops faster follow-up shots, a 10 round detachable magazine, and even served as a scoped marksman rifle with the ZF4 optic.

It was a real step forward over the K98k, but by the time production ramped up, the war was already turning. Late war shortcuts, rough machining, and limited time kept it from ever reaching its full potential.

Still one of the coolest WW2 rifles out there, even when time pretty much ran out…

Poland’s Finest

Poland built these before WWII, and they weren’t messing around. It’s a slick, single-action 9mm with a little 1911 flavor, but it’s far from a copy. The lines, the controls, the machining, it all feels like a country building a serious service pistol with pride behind it.

Then the war hits, Germany takes over the Radom factory, and the same pistol keeps getting made under occupation.

That’s the part that gives these so much weight. Just a great design, and a history that changed almost overnight.

The C**t everyone forgot.

Before highways, before cities stretched coast to coast, and before the West became a story.

There was this.

The C**t 1878 Frontier Six Shooter in .44-40 WCF. Built so a man could carry one cartridge for both his revolver and his Wi******er and ride a little farther with a little less.

This one was built in the 1886 and still wears its C**T FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER marking 140 years later.

There’s something uniquely American about these old frontier guns. Not because they’re perfect. Not because they’re polished, but because they were tools carried by people building something bigger than themselves.

Not every cowboy carried a Peacemaker… Some carried this.

The Property Marked Bullseye Blaster

This Re*****on Rand started as a U.S. Property marked service pistol during WWII. Like thousands of others, it was built for duty.

But this one didn’t stop there.

Somewhere along the line it was rebuilt to 1960 National Match standards and turned into a bullseye gun. The mission changed from service sidearm to punching ragged holes in paper.

Same pistol. Different chapter.

Honestly, there’s something cool about a gun getting a second life instead of ending its story where it started.

The Ta**us Curve… Is it good? Not in the slightest.

The Ta**us Curve is one of those guns that probably works better as an idea than it does as an actual pistol.

Built with a curved frame so it sits closer to the body and prints less under clothing. No real sights, weird ergonomics, and a built-in laser/light setup that feels very uhhh… somethin…

Is it a great gun? Not really.

But it does look cool, and you can see what Ta**us was going for. They tried to solve a real carry problem in a totally different way, and honestly, that alone makes the Curve more interesting than most pocket pistols.
