Project #2 of the weekend: lightweight summer sleep sack. I sewed together some muslin receiving blankets to make this one for my daughter. She’s been too hot in her big sleep sacks but has a hard time getting to sleep without wearing one. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!

Hello there! It’s been a while, I know! Since having our first baby last year June, crafting has looked very different for me. It mostly consists of projects for my daughter, or for friends who are having babies of their own. But that’s really what I enjoy doing - projects for those I love!
This afternoon consisted of making a crib rail cover for my little one, who is voraciously gnawing at her crib rail. I am making a second one for the back, but thought I would share what I have done so far! I’m loving using my sewing machine again 😊 🧵
