The Book Hive helps grown-ups catch that Scholastic Book Fair high by bringing affordable books and book-themed merch to local breweries, markets, and community events!

Some people love Fridays. We love Book Delivery Day - and today was a big one. 📦📚

A HUGE shipment landed at Book Hive HQ, and it is stacked: sci-fi for the world-builders, romance for the hockey-fan girlies, historical fiction for the "just one more chapter" crowd, fantasy for the dreamers, and so much more. Genuinely something for every kind of reader.

And the best part? You don't have to wait to see it. We're bringing all of it - plus new merch — to our stops this weekend:

Hey ! It's been a quiet summer over here - lots of reading, not much posting. August's here to fix that with three pop-ups!

🐝 Aug 7 - Grown-Up Book Fair at Helderberg Meadworks - Troy Meadhall, Troy (5:30-8pm)
Books + mead = a snack for your brain and a snack for, well, also your brain.

🍺 Aug 8 - Grown-Up Book Fair at Broken Loop Brewing, Albany (1-4pm)
Saturday afternoon energy: cold beer in hand, book in the other, absolutely no plans to leave on time.

🎶 Aug 21 - Grown-Up Book Fair at Wolf Hollow Brewing, Schenectady (5-8pm)
Singer/songwriter Justin Friello is joining us for this one, so you'll have a live soundtrack while you shop. Melodic musings + tables full of books = the best kind of summer night.

Three stops, one very optimistic TBR pile. Mark your calendars, we'll see you out there. 📚🐝

August is almost here, and we are. We're kicking off the month with a Grown-Up Book Fair at Helderberg Meadworks - Troy Meadhall!

Join us Friday, August 7th from 5:30-8:00pm for an evening built around good books and good company. Come browse a curated selection of reads across all kinds of genres, find your next favorite, and take your time doing it - no rush and no little hands pulling you toward the toy aisle.

While you're there, grab a glass of mead and make a night of it. Whether you're a longtime regular or this is your first time stopping by, we'd love to see you.

This Friday, we're setting up shop at Fort Orange Brewing in Albany! 🎉📚

Summer's been quiet on our end and here's the thing: we're only doing TWO events this July. That's it. That's the whole month. So, if you've been hoping to pop-in to an event, this is one of your two shots.

Come dig through our book selection, find your next read, and hang out with fellow book people - good vibes, good books, good company.

It's been quiet on here while we soak up these first few weeks of summer, but don't let our silence fool you - we've been busy behind the scenes planning some really fun events!

It kicks off this Friday with a Grown-Up Book Fair at Fort Orange Brewing, then we're heading across the river to Nassau on Saturday for a Grown-Up Book Fair at S&S Brewery. Two days, two great spots, and lots of books - come find us!
