With the NHL draft underway and showcasing the next generation of talent, we figured it would be a great time to show what the next generation Traxxas Rustler 2wd looks like.

The next gen Rustler features a new power system featuring a v3200 brushless motor with bigger 5mm motor shaft and an integrated cooling fan. The VX3 speed control is capable of handing 2s or 3s LiPo batteries. (NiMH not supported) The ESC features a built in aluminum heat sink and fan to help keep temperatures down and now features high resolution linear braking for more smoothness and precision.

The updated trucks now come with a metal gear servo further increasing durability. And speaking of durability, the truck now comes with the extreme heavy duty package which features beefed up C-hubs, heavy duty suspension arms, strengthened steering blocks and HD driveshafts.

And to top it all off, Traxxas has even updated the radio, now featuring the much more compact TQi Sport transmitter.

The new Rustler will be available in black, red, orange and yellow. Come down and pre-order yours today!

Well, we thought we had a big shipment arrive at our store...then the Losi 5IVE TE parked in front of it and all of a sudden, it didn't look as big. 😅
