Today is support your farmers day!.

What better way to show support than buying some lovely veg supplied by local farmers!.

I buy direct where I can straight from the farm, this way the farmer gets a price he’s happy with, and you get the freshest veg that hasn’t been stored for weeks or travelled around the country.

With less than 15 food miles from farm to shop.

Just picked up carrots, rainbow carrots, rainbow chard, parsnips, bunched carrots, leeks and Curly Kale.

These are grown just outside Helston from a local farmer who spends all his day caring for his land and growing vegetables that he wants people to love!.

Pop down to Mr Ragamuffins, St George’s Arcade where not only do we support farms like these, we also stock Cornish Cheese, sauces made by people that live in Falmouth and Truro and honey collected from the Bees in the Truro area.

Picked and dug up this morning, in the shop for opening time!.

Rainbow Chard, Rainbow Carrots, Apple Spud and crunchy Kale all delicious and local to Helston, low food miles and sustainable farming, by a small independent farmer.
