Some pieces are more than just a sign — they tell a story.

This custom corten steel piece was made for BaaVana, an idea dreamed up by the owner of the barn where it is hosted.

It all came together as a way for Justin, his mates, and their families to enjoy their own version of a great day out — with home-brewed beer, great food, music, laughs, and good company.

Once the logo was created, the boys in the factory brought it to life in steel for the barn where it all happens.

We love projects like this — personal, creative, and full of character, made for an awesome bunch of people.

So excited, we have a new grade of Paua Shell pieces on offer.

The Paua pieces have undergone an extensive polishing process to ensure each piece has a beautiful high gloss finish.

We are calling this grade “Jewellery Grade” due to the stunning finish on these pieces which really enhances the natural beauty of the Paua.

It comes in 100, 250 and 500gm lots or 1kg. (link in the comments)
There is approximately 700 pieces in a kg and they are a variety of shapes and sizes with smooth, rounded edges due to the meticulous polishing process.

Can’t wait to see what people create from these gemstone type pieces.

A wee competition we are running over on our BeachCombernz page.

We are looking for the most creative uses you can think of for our new range of Pot Plant Tiny’s. We have attached our ideas, but we are looking for your creative input too.

The competition starts today and ends on the 28th of November and is open to everyone except employees or family members of Beachcomber.

Your contributions will be judged by Rosie, a very creative lady and one of the directors of our company.

A complete set of Pot Plant Tiny’s will be sent to the winner, who will be announced on the 29th of November.
