The fun continued the next night when Tommy concocted a plan to TP our own house. He let Tyler in on it but I was in the dark. He texted all the cousins and said meet at my house at 11:30 to get my mom back. It was pretty funny. He would’ve gotten away with it if I hadn’t been tipped off to him being gone. Max came into our room telling Tyler that he couldn’t find Tommy anywhere. I finally got it out of Tyler that he was out with the cousins doing a little tepee revenge. I then realized it was on our house so I had to go outside and try to scare them back. I was unsuccessful, but I let them continue their job. I’ll give you two guesses of who cleaned most of the mess up the next day. 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️

We had our annual “girls night out black Friday shopping on Thanksgiving night” with the older nieces. We hit QT, Ulta, Old Navy and Target, then wrap the evening up at IHOP. Last year we decided to TP car while he was at a midnight movie. So naturally, the boys wanted to get us back. We caught them while we were sitting inside eating at IHOP. They didn’t get much done, but it was pretty funny nonetheless.
When I dropped the girls off these three little stinker boys talked me into taking them on a QT run. Nothing like QT taquito‘s at 1:30 in the morning. 🤢 @ IHOP

Here it is. Our lot that sits empty now but will soon house all of our mid century modern dreams.
We plan on moving into the home, that sits on the back side of the property, the week after Christmas. Everything worked out perfectly (timing wise) with the family buying our home and the previous owners of our new home. We’re so excited and a little in denial (me🙋🏽‍♀️) that’s it’s all actually happening.
I want to experience one last full fledged Christmas in our so I’m juggling trying to pack everything up/make it still seem like our home for Christmas. 🤔 I know everything will work itself out but man, adding one more crazy huge stress to the holidays is going to be bonkers. Pray for me. 🥴

I’ve had the privilege of playing Christmas dress-up for the past two weeks for . This home is beautiful and has been a great little escape for me to let my creative juices flow wild. Thanksgiving isn’t even here, yet I’ve been in full Christmas mode for weeks now. Hopefully I’ll still have the desire to do my own house at some point. 😓🙄🤪

Award for best candy spread goes to . Every kids candy dreams were coming true.
This is the first year that all of the kids were out roaming the neighborhood by themselves except for Georgie. It was a little exhilarating and also saddening. Tyler stayed home to hand out candy for the first time ever since we’ve lived in this house. We felt like since he was the Bishop that he should probably hand out candy to the neighbors and ward members. A great time had by all, lots of visiting and lots of fun!
