This is a new line of work featuring unique pearls from the Sea of Cortez. These pearls are harvested from only one company that takes great care in raising thier oysters for pearl production. After the oyster is no longer producing pearls, the meat is eaten and the shells are used in jewelry manufacturing. There is no waste involved. It is a very eco-friendly situation. The color of each pearl is natural, no treatments have been done to them.

I am the instrument that is needed to create these emotional and spirit filled vessels. I am here to represent them but they come from a deeper place inside of me that has taken many years of study and work to emerge.

Each one evokes a story or emotion unique to the viewer. I write down the story that I hear from them but it is my personal interpretation. It may not be the same for whomever they connect with.

These are wonderful, positive, strong personalities that have enriched my life and I want to share them with those who are drawn to them and may capture the same experience.
