Acquired in 2024 by Mobilier National for a palace of the French Republic.

A territory of encounters where matter seems to lighten. Angular legs resist gravity while the tabletop hovers in poised equilibrium, suspended between calculation and chance. The precision translated into presence.

Composed as a pair — similar yet irreducibly distinct — this double sofa stands like two figures sharing the same narrative, bound by an inner balance rather than mirroring each other.
Its carved wooden geometry freezes an asymmetrical movement, where clarity of line meets a restrained, almost primitive force.

French dark walnut structures the form, while light yellow velvet introduces an unexpected tenderness — a surface that holds the light, slows the gesture, and invites stillness.
