Calling all Gran Fondo La Marmotte 2023 riders!

We can all agree that every route has its own story and sometimes a ride can change your life. And these are the rides that deserve to be framed on your wall.

Definitely one of the biggest cycling highlights of 2022. 🔥
climbs to a solo victory in the queens stage of La Vuelta.

4000 metres of climbing and an altitude finish at 2500 metres in Sierra Nevada. 🤯

Photographer and cyclist pushed his boundaries this summer with a 300+ km solo ride this summer. Check out his Ride Report.

“Last summer I was in a bad place, full of doubt and disappointment in myself and others.
I lost all my cycling motivation until I heard that my former scouting planned their very first camp abroad. They focus on children with special needs. Years ago I had such an amazing time with them as a scouting leader. Happier days.

It is 300 km from Antwerp to their camp, so the goal was set: a solo ride in 1 day.
Very impulsive, but I didn’t want to miss out on their first foreign adventure. Besides that I needed this mental push.

So without any training, I’ve cycled through the scenery of Bokrijk, the city of Maastricht, climbed Amstel Gold’s Bemelerberg and Gulperberg, stood at Tripoint, climbed in German forests and crossed the Rhine. Brutal yet beautiful. An achievement I really needed.”

completed his first Iromnan relay. A stunning performance since he cycled with one prosthetic leg. 🔥 This is his Ride Report:

“On August 7th I took part in the full distance Ironman relay. 180 km cycling in the south of Limburg. 180 km as fast as possible. Together with my teammates and friends Maxim and Sjors.

Since I cycle with one prosthetic leg and all the power has to come from one leg it’s a mental and physical challenge. It was painful and challenging, but when I finished the 180km I was more than proud. For me it’s proof that everyone can do so much more than they think and my Koersplaat Rideposter is a long lasting reminder of this stunning performance.”
