Our name pays homage to that very first maker we started working with who crafts all of his toys from Rubberwood which is in the Oak family, later we started working with bamboo which is in the evergreen family.

At the heart of every child’s development is the magic of play. It’s through these simple, tactile experiences that children learn the most about the world around them. From feeling the rough texture of a tree bark to the softness of a freshly plowed garden, every touch, squish, and pinch is a building block in their understanding of the environment.

Wow, how is it almost July already?! The last few weeks of summer have flown by, and I’ve done a pretty terrible job keeping up here 😅
BUT I’m popping in to say our ‘90s-style summer—full of crafts, swimming, biking, and free play—is going swimmingly, and I hope yours is too 💛🌞

This build is made with some of our favorite open-ended toys: Way to Play roads, Grimms blocks, and Grapat mandalas. Endless possibilities with these beauties!
