Hello new friends!👋🏼 I’m Haley.

My welcome to Blue Sky Quilt Design.

What if I told you that you could make detailed, intricate quilts without any tedious cutting or quilt math? It’s totally possible with my new quilting technique called Carefree Quilting!

Back when I first moved out on my own I wanted to quilt, but didn’t have all of the tools like rulers, cutting mats, etc . I grew up spending hours in my mom’s sewing room with all the quilting gadgets available, and started to wonder if I could find a way to quilt with just the simple supplies I had on hand.

This planted the seeds in my mind for Carefree Quilting. I designed quilts that were digitally printed on fabric, and using a folding technique could be turned into quilts that looked perfectly pieced. NO cutting with a rotary cutter/mat was required, which was one of my favorite parts. I could sew beautiful quilts in my small space, and suddenly quilting became more fun and less stress!

Now, I have created Carefree Quilt kits and patterns to share with you, and I can’t wait for you to see them! I know you have never seen quilts made like this, and can’t wait to share the fun!🤩
