Edad Ogham
The Edad Ogham stands for the letter E.

Ogham were the first alphabet of Scotland. The letters were carved on stones from around the 4th century onwards. They are not a language, but a way of writing down any language. Pictish, latin, and even old norse inscriptions have been found across Scotland.

Gold Plated Skane Hammer
This stunning Thor's hammer pendant is a replica of one from the Viking period that was found in Skane, Sweden. Thor’s Hammers were worn by followers of Thor for protection. The stone is made from glass, which was a rare material 1000 years ago and was often used in jewellery because of its expensive nature.
Gilding, or gold plating, was carried out on many jewellery items in the Viking age, using the mercury gilding process. This piece has a 1micron thick layer of gold, plated over pewter, to give an attractive representation of what some of these Viking age pieces may have looked like when they were first made.

It is cast in lead free pewter in Scotland, then gold plated, and comes with a length of black cord.

This pewter disc brooch is in the Borre style and is based on a find housed in the National Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is made from lead free pewter in Scotland and measures 31mm. It is suitable for fastening fine wool or linen tunics and dresses.

TWIN PACK Openwork Urnes Dragon Bead
This stunning new bead has been styled with an openwork design. The dragon that intricately surrounds this lightweight bead has been carved in the Urnes style and has been inspired by a Rune Stone carving found in Upland, Denmark.

These beads have an 8mm hole, and make a great addition to any viking beard, braid or dreadlock. This item is sold in packs of two and is delivered in our eco-friendly packaging.

Cast in pewter, it weighs approximately 4g. The piece is 17mm high and 12mm at its widest point.
