Sold $560 at my garage sale on Saturday!! $260 via Venmo and the rest in cash!

Here were my top selling items:
-strollers (sold two! For $50 & $60)
- small household items (think holiday decor, decorative pieces, kitchen items)
- clothes!! Both kids & adults (kids were $0.25 a piece and adults were anywhere from $1-$5. People went nuts over these and it was fun to watch!)

my number #1 garage sale tip is to advertise on every platform and post a few pictures showing what you’re selling. I posted on every local FB group I was in, Craigslist & the Yardsale app. I even had a couple people mention how good my advertising was so I guess it worked!

Do you have your own garage sale? Perfect way to refresh and get rid of stale inventory. I wish so badly we had a neighborhood garage sale day but no one else in my neighborhood ever has one. Do I need to start this!?

It’s my favorite day of the year!!! My own garage sale! It feels like my own little thrift store and I love it!! People always say garage sales are a lot of work and are not worth it but I say, I wish I could have a garage sale every weekend!! They are so fun for me! As usual- I advertised to start at 8 but was all set up by 6:30 and I welcomed early birds! The only way to do it, right!?

thank you, whatnot!! I know I’m like 4 years late to this game but whatnot has been really great for selling kids clothes fast! Yesterday was my second show and I sold over 100 items in an hour and a half! Thank you if you came & bought from me. I appreciate you!! I am also really thankful for my mailman who comes and picks packages right off my front porch so I never have to leave my home!!

Do you sell on whatnot!? Please tell me how it’s going for you any tips or tricks you have! Myself (and I’m sure others!) would love to hear!
