My dollies have been hard at work making these faux goodies! I've got mini donuts and ice cream sandwiches for earrings, necklace charms, or doll food for sale. Also, made this cool "dessert" shadow box with fake icing too and stuck a piece of "cake" in it. Because, why not? Fun times!

I've been a busy bee making new goodies! I named my new business, "Faux Gateaux". You won't gain an ounce, get a cavity, or Diabetes from these. My ingredients didnt come from the grocery store, but from the hardware store! Even though they're not edible, you can feast your eyes on this eye candy indefinitely! There are many enjoyable possibilities for these whimsical crafts . I'm making some into headbands/jewelry (because who hasn't always dreamed of wearing a donut on their head?!). I'm in the process of making a "Faux Gateaux" Facebook and Etsy page. All of these "treats" are available for purchase (Halloween is right around the corner and I've already begun working on Christmas) and I'm taking commissions from anyone interested. (Examples: ornaments, magnets, photography prop, store prop, accessories, gifts, birthday keepsakes, pretend doll food, etc. I don't recommend these as a toy for young children because they might be tempted to eat them. They are 100% non edible.). Thanks for reading about my new artsy adventure and just remember... "On a diet? With Faux Gateaux, yes you Can Can! "
