As I watch my stories come alive on the pages, my heart fills with joy knowing my children and grandchildren will have access to the stories that were once only in an old binder on my shelf.

Flipping through those worn pages brings me back to the moments of hardship that led me to write them in the first place. Every one of my children's books was born from real-life events, moments where I wanted my children or those close to me to know they were not alone. That they were seen, heard, and valued.

Now, four of my children's books are published, with more to come! The support I’ve received on this journey has been incredible, and I’m truly grateful. My hope is that these stories continue to help others, just as I’ve seen them help those in my life.

✨ Exciting News! ✨

I'm thrilled to share that my book, Anna's Special Way of Seeing, is now available! This one holds a very special place in my heart. One because of the reason I wrote this book in the first place and two my amazing little boy heard me say I can't get it published until I have someone do the art for it and he jumped right in and started drawing. I added the photos he created throughout the book. 🥰

I wrote this story nearly 15 years ago for my sweet little Julia, , who was diagnosed with dyslexia. She was so nervous about starting school, worried that the other kids might not understand her and wouldn’t want to be her friend. As her mom, I wanted her to see what I saw and what I knew others would see too:

A beautiful, smart, and strong girl with a heart as radiant as her smile.

Anna’s Special Way of Seeing is inspired by her journey and tells the story of a little girl who discovers that her unique way of seeing the world is a gift. Anna learns to embrace her differences and takes on challenges with pride and Julia did just the same.

She had the courage to step into the world with confidence, and she continues to do so to this day.

My hope is that by sharing this story, I can inspire other children who see the world a little differently to embrace their uniqueness and shine as brightly as they were meant to.

To every parent, teacher, and child out there: Let’s celebrate what makes us unique. 💛
