Today we got to visit our good friend Doug who makes the Pennsylvania Hickory Syrup that we sell at our space at Morning Sun Marketplace. Got to meet Sam, Pop and Corn his big beautiful Ox that he uses to help gather the s**g bark that he makes his syrup from. These giants are incredibly large and gentle, Sam is the oldest at 8 years and Pop & Corn are 1 1/2 year olds. We finally got to see his showroom in person and got a great education on how he makes his Syrup, dropped off some Taxidermy for his showroom and we restocked Syrups for our inventory. If you are in Mifflintown Pennsylvania make sure you stop and get yourself some Hickory syrup. Doug will be at the Pennsylvania Farm Show January 10th thru the 17th bring cash and support this 100% American made product that is made right here in Pennsylvania.
