Hello friends! Thank you all SO much for such an incredible first day at Wool Gathering! I was blown away and am so bummed to share that I am very nearly sold out of my self-striping skeins for this weekend. I’ll know better for next year to hold back a few skeins for Sunday! (And will also work hard to have MUCH more stock on hand.) I’ll have at least one online shop update in October with a restock, and possibly two! I’ll share more here as release dates get closer. Still plenty of tonals and mini-skeins, and I hope you’ll still stop by and say hello even if you’re waiting on any self-striping - I would love to see you and say hi after this 2-year gap in shows!! ❤️
In the meantime, I did find a set of rainbow-themed minis in my inventory yesterday, and will have a Sunday exclusive of rainbow mini-skein sets available today! 5 available, and I’ll add these to my dye schedule for the next shop update as well.

4 days 😱 until Wool Gathering! Here’s a peek at all of the fall-themed, self-striping colorways available this year. Swipe through to see them all!
What a Witch, with stripes of purple and orange.
Campfire Nights, with a mix of blues and neutrals.
Pumpkin Stripe Latte, because yes it is the best drink of fall 😆 a mix of orange and coffee tones.
Pumpkin King, with orange, yellow, and moody grays.
Decorative Gourd Season, it is that time of year, with a soft mix of orange, blush, and green.
And Autumn Sky to finish the group, which reminds me of cool autumn nights as the sun sets from yellow to orange and fades into blue.

I should have more striped socks than I do, given how much sock yarn I dye 🤔 but I am a slow project knitter (process knitter here 🙋‍♀️) and constantly distracted by new colorways 👀. Any finished sock is a reason to celebrate in my world! 🥳 This sample is one of my holiday colorways, Berry Merry Christmas. I know it’s probably too early 🎄 for most people, but hear me out, us slow knitters need more lead time! 🤣

Fall is my favorite 🍁 🍂 🎃 ☕️ Take two with this one! I introduced this colorway almost 2 years ago, but ended up needing to do some more testing and swap out one stripe’s dye mix. The original color kept breaking sporadically, which is annoying when trying to recreate skeins! Found a good mix, and a few skeins will be available next weekend.

Hello, world. I’m sheepishly waving to you all while acknowledging that it’s felt like forever since I’ve last had my hands in any yarn projects. I hope you all have been well over this past year. ❤️ How about a quick recap?
We adopted a dog last year! Arlo is a mini schnauzer with a giant personality. We love him to pieces.
I got married! We eloped to Vermont and had a beautiful winter ceremony, just us, our officiant, and photographer. It was cold and perfect.
Yay vaccine!
We’re fixing up a house! Long story involved, and I’ll be thrilled to finally have this project behind me.
As exciting as this year has been, I’ve unfortunately been dealing with some health issues throughout, but still dyeing a bit here and there and getting ready for Wool Gathering in (omg) 11 days! Will you be there? I’ll have some seasonal colorways and a few old favorites, and can’t wait to see you in person. I’ll likely be masked to protect my high-risk family members (as much as masks can do, anyway) but please know I’ll be smiling ear-to-ear underneath! 😁 I can’t wait to see you and say hello!

Slowly getting back into some new colorway inspiration, and I’m digging this potential self-striping colorway. When I brainstorm new colorways that aren’t strictly inspired by something like an event or season, I sometimes dump a pile of test minis on my work table and see what draws my eye! I loved these little skeins together. Next step is a test skein! What do you think about purple and green together?

*waves sheepishly* 👋 I never know what to write after coming back from an unplanned break, and this particular break was waaaaaay longer than I ever expected it to be. 🙈 I imagine this year has thrown many of us for a loop, and I’m in awe of the folks with multiple jobs, families, kids at home, and other priorities who have maintained some semblance of balance this year! My balance was less successful 😆 but I’m currently straightening up my studio and hoping to get at least a few skeins dyed before the holidays. I hope you all have been well during this strange year! I look forward to catching up on things I missed. Thank you all for sticking around and tagging me in your project photos! Here are a few things I’ve been up to this year. ❤️ I’ll add some more photos soon, but Instagram is giving me grief while trying to add multiple photos at once...
1. Getting outside a lot to counteract working from home since mid-March.
2. Adopted a puppy! His name is Arlo, and he’s both adorable and a tiny terror. 😆
3. Gardening this year was not very successful, but I enjoyed a few radishes! Tiny, tiny radishes.
4. Paddle boarding and kayaking a few times. No regrets for that pandemic purchase.
5. Managed to gather a few tonals, and set them aside to build up inventory for Wool Gathering 2021 (fingers crossed...).
6. Most important of all, voted early. Please make time to make sure your voice is heard, too!
With that, back to yarn soon! 🧶

Spritz cookies are some of my favorites around the holidays.🎄Lots of butter, so of course they’re delicious 🤤 and we always add red and green sprinkles for a little more sweetness and a tiny bit of crunch! This colorway is one I dyed almost 2 years ago, but it never made it to the online shop, until this week! A limited number of Spritz sock sets are available now as a preorder. I hope you have a wonderful holiday week! ♥️
