Meet Kristen, NP, owner and founder of Reve Aesthetics in Downtown Wyandotte

As a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of medical experience and over a decade specializing in aesthetics and wellness, Kristen has built Belle Reve into a trusted destination for aesthetic and wellness services, including injectables, laser treatments, medical weight loss, and peptide therapy. Her background in critical care medicine has shaped her commitment to patient safety, education, and helping clients achieve natural-looking results that leave them feeling confident and empowered.

Kristen is passionate about continuing education and regularly travels across the country for advanced training while also mentoring and educating new injectors entering the industry.

When she's not at Belle Reve, Kristen is a wife, mother of two teenagers, and a Pilates instructor at fellow women-owned Wyandotte business Luna Sol Pilates. She is also a strong supporter of the local business community, frequently partnering with other women-owned businesses through events, collaborations, and giveaways.

Kristen and her team are dedicated to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where clients can look and feel their best while receiving expert care. Their commitment to both their clients and the Wyandotte community is just one of the many reasons we're proud to feature her as this week's Women of Wyandotte.

We're keeping the momentum going by celebrating another incredible woman making an impact in our downtown community!

Meet Rachel, owner of Riforma Pilates. Rachel turned her passion for Pilates into a welcoming space where people of all fitness levels can build strength, confidence, and connection. Whether you're trying Pilates for the first time or looking to challenge yourself with reformer or mat classes, Rachel and her incredible team are dedicated to helping every client leave feeling stronger than when they walked in. Their supportive atmosphere has quickly made Riforma Pilates a favorite destination for wellness in our community.

Thank you, Rachel, for investing in Wyandotte and inspiring others to embrace strength, movement, and self-care. We are proud to feature you in our Women of Wyandotte series! ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ’š Women of Wyandotte ๐Ÿ’š

Today we are featuring Winifred's Garden and Sprinkled Sweet, a partnership that beautifully showcases the power of women supporting women.

Winifred's Garden offers something truly unique in Wyandotte, a place where people can slow down, connect, and enjoy a personalized tea experience. Whether you're gathering with friends for a private tea party, celebrating a special occasion, or simply stopping in to explore new flavors, Stacey has created a welcoming space centered around conversation, community, and the love of tea.

Alexis brings her creativity and passion for baking to the partnership through Sprinkled Sweets, offering beautifully crafted sweet treats that perfectly complement the charm and experience of Winifred's Garden. Together, these two entrepreneurs have created a destination where customers can find both beautiful blooms and delicious handcrafted desserts under one roof.

One of the things we love most about Wyandotte's small business community is seeing women entrepreneurs lift each other up, collaborate, and find ways to grow together. Stacey and Alexis are a wonderful example of how partnership, creativity, and community can create something even more special than either business could alone.

Thank you to Stacey and Alexis for investing in Wyandotte, supporting one another, and bringing even more beauty, creativity, and sweetness to our community.

๐Ÿ’š Be sure to stop in, follow their journey, and show these incredible women-owned businesses some love!

Time to feature Drew, owner of The Little Pierogi & Crepe Kitchen .

Drew's entrepreneurial journey began at just 20 years old when she opened her business in 2014 using money she had saved while working throughout high school, without taking out a single loan! What started as a dream fueled by determination and hard work has grown into a beloved Wyandotte destination known for its delicious pierogies, sweet and savory crepes, and welcoming atmosphere.

Over the years, Drew has balanced the challenges of business ownership with raising her family. As a proud mom of three young boys, she's been able to spend valuable time at home with her children thanks to the support of her sister, who stepped into a management role to help keep the business running strong. Together, they've built what truly embodies the spirit of a family-owned, small-town business.

The Little Pierogi & Crepe Kitchen has become a local favorite not only for its unique menu but also for the heart behind it. Drew's story is a reminder that with hard work, perseverance, and family support, big dreams can start small and grow into something special.

Thank you, Drew, for investing in Wyandotte, creating a gathering place for our community, and showing what it means to build a business from the ground up.

๐Ÿ’š Be sure to stop by, support local, and show The Little Pierogi & Crepe Kitchen some love!

๐Ÿ’š Women of Wyandotte ๐Ÿ’š

Our spotlight is shining on Alyssa, owner of Kekoa Brew Co. Coffee Roasters .

What began as a love for great coffee has grown into a business built on resilience, purpose, and community. Alyssa opened Kekoa Brew Co. with a vision of creating more than just a coffee shop, she wanted to create a welcoming space where people could gather, connect, and enjoy thoughtfully crafted coffee.

The name "Kekoa" carries a special meaning. It was inspired by a whale shark Alyssa and her husband helped rescue while snorkeling in Hawaii. Because the whale shark was not yet being tracked, they were given the opportunity to name it and chose "Kekoa," which means "brave one" or "warrior." The name held even greater significance for Alyssa as a brain tumor survivor, making it a powerful symbol of strength, perseverance, and overcoming challenges.

Today, Kekoa Brew Co. has become a favorite gathering place for many in our community, known for its carefully sourced coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to quality. But behind every cup is a story of courage, determination, and a business owner who followed her dream.

Thank you, Alyssa, for investing in Wyandotte, creating a space that brings people together, and reminding us that some of the best businesses are built from both passion and purpose.

๐Ÿ’š Be sure to stop in, support local, and show Kekoa Brew Co. some love!
