Do you use your local library?? With my library card at the Roosevelt County Library, I have been able to read/listen to over 895 books since 2019!! And the best part… it’s all Free!! With my library card I can log into the Libby app on my phone and download up to 5 books at a time up to 14 days, and have 10 books on hold in case there is a waitlist. This works for reading the book on any device phone or kindle, or an audiobook like what I do.
Growing up I was such a book worm and always had my nose in a book. As I grew older, my attention span started wavering and it is impossible for me to sit still and read a physical book.. And with my hearing disability I never thought that I could hear the person reading the book on an audio book. But with the advancement of headphones I love being able to download some books and listen to the books while I’m cleaning/working!! If you didn’t know, now you do!!

I have been doing a lot of thinking and praying and trying to figure things out!! What do I want this page to mean? I want to promote things that I do that may be quirky, and I want to show small frugal things that can make an impact in more ways than one!!

Take this weekend for example!! Spending all three nights of our local historical rodeo volunteering!! It is so simple yet so rewarding!! The local events don’t work without volunteers, and the rewards always outweigh the little bit of sweat!!

It is fulfilling my little frugal heart, by getting food and drinks while we work and then if we want we can watch the remainder of the rodeo for free!!

It is fulfilling getting to see old friends, clients and family that we don’t get to see on a regular basis.

Go volunteer!! You never know what will come out of it!! Go Make the Impact that You Wanna See!!

Maaaannnn!! Slowly making progress on my goals!! I remember a few years ago telling one of my friends that my goal was to have 10k items in my Poshmark store!! I officially hit 9,000 and realized I have the potential to hit this goal by the end of this year!! This number reflects the active listings and the items that have sold via Poshmark. Now that I have started cross listing, the number fluctuates more, things sell on other sites and then it deletes from here!! Man just needed to reflect on this and document it somehow!!
