Okay, so I tested my Powder setup last week.
This time I tried my Cambered Skiboard on my Snogo.
It's a typical Kootenay problem, too many skis.
Luckily, Snogo's a great platform for my old skis.
The results were awesome! Compared to my G4 All-mountain skis, I could change edges way faster because of the narrower front skis. Plus, I could stop quicker thanks to the longer effective edge.
My wife tried it and immediately said, "Put my Skiboard on my bike for me!"
Okay, a Saturday project.
Here's the ski info:
Front: Summit 79cm, zero rocker, cambered, 120/100/110mm
They're longer than my G4 All-mountain skis, but slightly narrower.
Rear: Summit 106cm front, 15.9cm 4mm rocker, 84.8cm 2mm camber, 5.3cm 4mm rocker tail. 145/105/135mm
Much longer than G4 All-Mountain skis; the waist is slightly narrower (G4 is 110mm), but the tip and tail are much wider.
Seriously, I don't think I'll even need my Snogo Powder skis or All-mountain skis anymore.
For powder days, I'll use my rocker skiboard;other days just run this setup
My Snogo Powder skis are for sale –, DM me with offers.
One set of rear skis is still in wrap.
