Will this be my next great business venture? Probably not. But at least my feet got their moment. 😂

I think the secret to a happy life is learning to recognize the beauty and joy tucked into the ordinary moments of our everyday lives.

I recently rewatched one of my favorite movies, About Time, and it’s one of those films that pulls at my heartstrings every single time. It has such a beautiful way of reminding us that life isn’t only made up of the big milestones and extraordinary moments—it’s the ordinary days, too. Fresh flowers from the garden. Snuggles on the couch. Dinner being made in the kitchen. An afternoon nap. A few pages of a good book. Being home with the people you love.

Plus, it stars Rachel McAdams—my forever girl crush—so of course it’s wonderful. 🤍

There’s a quote from the movie that has stayed with me:

“We’re all traveling through time together, every day of our lives. All we can do is do our best to relish this remarkable ride.”

Maybe that’s the secret: paying attention while we’re here. Finding beauty in the ordinary. Letting the everyday be enough. And remembering that these seemingly small moments are, in fact, our lives.

Scenes from a lovely Mother’s Day 🌿

I’m so disappointed because I was so busy visiting and spending time with my own mom that I completely forgot to take photos of us together today.

The morning started with me admiring my Mother’s Day gift — new curtains — followed by a tiny photoshoot of them with my sunny bird 🐈☀️

Then at sunset, after realizing I forgot to take photos with my own mom, I insisted we take some family photos with my son, husband, and mother in law instead. A beautiful, full day spent with the people I love most. 🤍
