Its been a VERY long time since I have posted here, since Julibeans came to an end some time ago. I am, however, still creating in other venues! After many repeated requests, I have rebranded and freshened up my old patterns, and uploaded them to my Etsy shop! I also have an Instagram, and a new FB, though the new FB is attached to my IG and I rarely post directly to it.

Well, fans, it has been a very long time since I have updated here or been active with Julibeans at all. Some of you may know, but others do not, that my family has faced a particularly difficult challenge this year with the loss of our daughter, Avalyn. This brings me to why I am posting here now. We are having a really difficult time financially right now because of Jake losing his job just after Avalyn died. He has another job now, but we are in a gap between losing one job and starting the other and all of our bills are piling up. If any of you need any knitting or sewing done or yarn dyed, please let me know so that I can try to help raise the money that we need to get through this slump. Thanks!

Facebook pre-sale up and running! Here's what I decided on:

Orders will be accepted through next Wed, Aug 29. Depending on how many skeins are ordered, the expected completion date will be approx 4 weeks from then. Unlimited colorways are allowed. Unlimited trim skeins per colorway allowed. All colorways from the gallery are included and I am also open to custom colorways (to match a fabric or outfit, your choice). As always the only exclusion is that I will not knowingly duplicate another indie dyer's colorway.

And here's the kicker! Increasing discount, the more that you order (not including trim skeins). 1-2 skeins = regular price. 3-5 skeins = 10% discount. 6-8 skeins = 15% discount. 9+ skeins = 20% discount.

Bases available:
Cassiopeia Merino (3.5 oz) - My "house" 4-ply worsted merino. Both soft and sturdy, it wears like iron and stands up to busy toddlers well. 4 st/in on size 7 needles, approx 248 yd. Hand wash cool, dry flat. $18.00

Cassiopeia Merino Super Wash (3.5 oz)- Just like my "house" 4-ply merino but in machine-washable super wash! Great for sweaters and easy-care garments, but not a good choice for diapering wool. 4 st/in on size 7 needles, approx 248 yd. Machine wash gentle cycle, tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. $19.00

Licorice Twist Merino (4 oz) - Soft 4-ply light worsted/DK weight yarn. One of the plies takes dye differently than the other 3, making a variegated appearance to the colors. Some colors show this variation more vividly than others. 4.5 st/in on size needles, approx 280 yd.. Hand wash cool, dry flat. $20.00

Gaia Worsted Merino (4 oz) - Buttery soft light worsted/DK weight yarn, certified organic. Perfect for infant wear! 4.5 st/in on size 7 needles, approx 280 yd. Hand wash cool, dry flat. $20.00

Gaia Bulky Merino (4 oz) - The same buttery soft fiber as Gaia Worsted, but in a plush bulky weight. 3-4 st/in on size 10 needles, approx 153 yd. Hand wash cool, dry flat. $20.00

British BFL (3.5 oz) - British Blue Face Leicester wool, aran weight. Softness and a beautiful sheen matched by no other wool. Perfect for infant wear! 5 st/in on size 8 needles, approx 206 yd. $19.00

Superwash Merino Sock (3.5 oz) - Soft, comfy machine washable 3-ply Merino yarn in sock weight. Great for accessories and of course socks! 100 g skeins (just over 3.5 oz) , 7.5 st/in on size 0-2 needles, approx 490 yd (enough for 1 pair of socks). $19.00

MCN Aran (3.5 oz) - Aran weight, 3-ply blend of 80% superwash Merino, 10% cashmere and 10% nylon for added strength. 3.5 oz, approx 181 yd. 5 st/in on size 9 needles. $21.00

Now that the Diaper Swappers co-op is wrapped up, I am free to take on other co-op or group orders! If you or your group are interested in booking an order simply email or PM me here for details! Minimum order is 40 skeins + trim in order to get co-op discounts, and co-op orders also include an option for up to two custom colorways!
