We are all set up at the Newago Farmer’s Market!

The kitchen sure smells amazing this morning!
The intense heat has cooled off.
The storms from last night have passed on.
Today would be a great day to enjoy a walk through the Newaygo Farmers Market this afternoon from 2:00pm to 5:30pm and enjoy tacos from the food truck, get lots of sourdough-something’s (there’s like, every kind you can think of!) as well as fresh veggies, pet treats, handcrafted products and so much more!
Our homestead is bring these healthy grab-n-go snacks made from scratch with freshly milled flour, quality Ghirardelli’s chocolate, and no artificial flavors or colors in sight! We also will be bringing delicious chocolate cake pops too! Hope to see you there!

Happy Monday!! This week in preparation for Newago’s Farmer’s Market on Friday we will be prepping and then finally making “To-Go Snacks”!
- Chocolate Cake Pops
- Puppy Chow/Muddie Buddies
- Baked Granola Bars with cranberries/chocolate chips
- Pop Tarts filled with strawberry jam
- Pretzel buns
- Blueberry-Lemon Muffins
- Double Chocolate Chip muffins
- Chocolate Chip Cookies
>>> all of these made from scratch with freshly milled whole wheat flour and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives AND baked the morning of the market so you get the freshest goods possible!

My middle daughter and I had a great time at the Newago Farmer’s Market yesterday! Even with the rain and cooler temps, folks still came out and it was so good to talk to both vendors and those coming by! Ramona - the FM Coordinator, made a delicious lunch for us vendors in honor of the opening day! My daughter and I took lots of notes so we can keep getting better and better at selling our goods and crafts. But what we both talked about the most on the way home - how good it was to talk to people “in-person” and getting to know our community better. I hope everyone made it through that storm during the night ok!

Come see us at the Newago Farmer’s Market until 5:30 today! Down at Brook’s Park in downtown Newago! We have fresh baked goods made with freshly milled flour as well as Bridgette’s books and Addi’s plush toys!

What a great opportunity this was! So thankful for all those involved in putting this together and to those who stopped by!

We look forward to continuing to showcase our oldest two girls’ products starting this Friday from 2-5:30 at Brook’s Park in downtown Newago at the Newago Farmer’s Market!

Our oldest two girls had their first vendor show this evening! Many thanks to all those who put all the time and effort and money to coordinate and bring about this event for young entrepreneurs! We look forward to making more connections next Friday at the first Newaygo Farmers Market of the summer!

Also thankful for the delicious hamburger, brats and Trevor’s potato salad from Millie’s Farm Market to go with our dinner which included homemade hamburger and hot dog buns made with freshly milled flour!
