A little glimpse into what’s on my desk today…

She’s not finished yet, but I already love the peaceful feeling she’s beginning to hold. Watercolor has a way of teaching patience—to trust the process, embrace the unexpected, and know when to simply let the paint do its work.

I can’t wait to see where this one ends. 🌊

Hi friends, I realized that many of you have been following Snowdrop Studios for a while now and I want to work on being better about sharing my life and business with you.

I’m Christina, the artist, face & designer, coffee enthusiast as I work, and BIG heart imprint left behind with every piece that leaves my growing home studio.

I’ve always believed that art is a way of preserving moments that words sometimes cannot. Whether it’s painting beloved pets, designing custom stickers, illustrating treasured memories, or creating memorial keepsakes, every project I take on carry someone’s story - and that’s something I never take lightly. 🤍

When I’m not creating, you’ll usually find me with my support water bottle with electrolytes nearby, earbuds in catching up on latest podcast or worship music, organizing my home, cooking, or reading a new mindful book - mostly to help dream up new ideas or working on building business knowledge and habits. I really enjoy spending quality time with my husband after work and on the weekends. We’ve been planning small adventures together and with family. We love hosting friends for game nights along side a yummy dinner, you’re always welcome at our table. Since it’s the season is here, we are choosing to enjoy all the wondrous moments of summer, even the heat & humidity!

One of my favorite parts of this business is getting to know the people behind every commission. Every email, every message, every photo you trust me with becomes part of something meaningful.

I’d love to get to know you a little better too!

✨Tell me in the comments:
•Favorite summer destination so far?
•What type of pet person are you?
•And if you could commission anything from me, what would it be?

Thank you for being here and supporting this dream of mine! Every like, comment, share, order and follow - truly means more than you know 💕

Nature has a way of offering simple joys and beauty in the smallest things.

A feather found on a trail. A tiny shell tucked into a pocket. A pinecone, a blossom, a fallen leaf. Little treasures that might seem ordinary to someone else, but become meaningful because of where they were found, when they were discovered, and the memories they carry.

Some still full of life, others reminders of seasons gone by. Each one a keepsake of adventures, wonder, and moments worth remembering.

I love painting these lovely treasures—small pieces of creation that remind me to slow down and notice the beauty all around us. 🤍

This piece was created for a very special purpose! Let me share a sweet little story. So just recently I had an inquiry for a custom crochet piece and I was informed that it was a very unique request. As I gathered all the information and materials, I was astonished and excited to create something that I had never made like this before. Not knowing that there were special ties to this piece that were going to stay with me and now with my business. The customer shared that a pregnancy announcement had been made in their family. And that they had received multiple prophetic words from the Lord through their community, and that they were going to have a baby tied together with the story of “baby Moses.” If anybody has grown-up learning of the story of baby Moses from the Bible, to be saved from death he was hid by his mother in a woven basket, placed in the river, and he was found by the Pharaoh daughter who preserved his life by adopting him. So of course, I accepted this challenge and request to create a crochet piece that brought this vision to life. A small baby clothed, wrapped, and lying in a basket. 🧺 And to my delight, the customer was ecstatic when I started sharing the progress of what this piece started to become. And now, knowing the whole story, I can only see that the Lord was doing something far greater than even what I could create in this moment for this family. He provided me a tangible and physical way to hold a little baby sized that is very much like my own son Arthur. Just a little a little smaller even. As I created it, I felt connected in a tender way, which I can only imagine someone else wanting to have that same experience when receiving one of these pieces. I’m hoping to continue creating more infant crochet dolls as a way to memorialize and remember babies who have been lost or who are being born. Thank you for choosing Snowdrop Studios to make this project come to light!

Robins are often one of the first birds to appear as winter rides on and fades, which is why they’re commonly seen as a symbol of renewal and new beginnings. 🐦🌱 They are also known for their distinctive, warbling song and territorial nature, even in winter. Praising through the harsh season of winter, bringing songs of hope that Spring is coming.

This piece was a watercolor practice today, inspired by the beauty of creation and the reminder to keep moving forward and truly notice the details God has placed around us. Praise even in the hallway or the storms that may surround you.

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” — Matthew 6:26
