I’ve been making some changes around here - and this one surprised me.

The funny part is...I’m a photographer.

Give me a scenic view or a candid moment and I’m completely comfortable behind the camera.

Give me one of my own bracelets to photograph?

Suddenly, I felt like I had never picked up a camera before. 😂

Product photography has been a whole different learning experience, but something finally clicked. I simplified things, stopped trying so hard to create the “perfect” image, and started letting the products speak for themselves.

And somehow, changing the photography changed the way I saw the entire brand.

So I wrote about it.
