I can wake up to these sunrises with you every morning Rob Costello except we tend to sleep in until noon! 🥱😂 Our Nova Scotia trip was one for the books, with lots of different types of scenery, lots of different types of cuisine, & lots of different types of recycling FOR SURE. Whatever it is that's making Canadians smile all the time, I want some. But hey, if I could stroll along the harbor with one of 50 flavors of delicious ice cream while looking over Georges Island, drive an hour to Peggy's Cove and Mahone Bay to stroll along some more jaw dropping scenery while eating some more of that ice cream, I'd be smiling too. 🇨🇦⛵

I finally picked my 3 entries for the pollinator photo challenge. The monarch is one of my best shots of this species, for which light, angle and blurred backdrop all aligned perfectly for a tack sharp image. The hummingbird clearwing is easily the most challenging insect to freeze in motion due to its tiny size and fast, erratic flight. A win would be nice, but that's not why I push myself.🦋📷
