For those of you in the sun a lot these days, here is a great DIY after sun spray. Lavender, Copaiba & Peppermint, 10 drops each with Fractionated Coconut oil and topped with water. Spray on as needed. If you don’t have all three or a spray bottle you can choose one, put a few drops in your hand with a carrier oil and put it where it hurts.

LAST THING, please bring the warm sunshine home with you!

Throwing it back on a Thursday to a time when we traveled more, a time without filters, without instant pictures, without a care in the world oh and without kids! We thought we knew it all and I was skinnier than my husband, lol.

I wouldn’t trade the life I live now for the life then, now I travel with my kids and have a bucket list that we have created together. We want to go to national parks, California, Bahamas, St John, Europe and Mickey’s top choice South Africa.

The world is opening up again and we have to figure out where to go next! Where is on your bucket list?

I have always thought of myself as a positive person, always choosing the path that is easy and happy. What I am learning is I am finding joy in the middle of the road. Things don’t have to be perfect because we don’t live in a world that is but when we focus on the good it only gets better.

Mindset is a huge part of life, manifesting each morning what you want the day to be. Also, manifesting your goals, short and long term is where you find your sweet spot! This practice has been around in me for years, but now that I am focusing on growing my mindset it’s even better.

Get yourself a friend that doesn’t leave your side when you are sick. This guy has been the best comfort and pillow the last week. Finally feeling human again today and ready to get back to our walks and fun.

Not pictured are the friends that dropped soup and special concoctions to help me get better. I leaned heavily on my oils and my natural remedies and not on traditional meds and I’m coming out on the other side.

Being prepared and having my roller bottles pre made helped me get through this flu without having to do much with the little energy I had. I’m thankful I was prepared.

Have you ever loved a car so much you cried when it got towed away?

Our Suburban we bought 18 years ago newly married with no kids. My dad worked for GM at the time we went to look at Tahoes and came out with a suburban. I can remember the test drive, the dealership, the car payment $571.02, the entire process. This was our first family car and it lasted 18 years, two kids, almost the entirety of youth sports, road trips and so much more.

This truck was good to us and I literally thanked it as it was towed away. I will miss the truck, but I have so many memories.

It’s safe to say it was the keeper of many memories! What has been the keeper of yours or what do you remember about this truck?

While listening to a round table business talk last night it was refreshing and so simple to hear that if you don’t like where you are start over. Such a simple thought that seems so foreign.

It doesn’t have to be life where you feel stuck, it could be the way you parent, the way you work or the way you love. You just have to have strength and drive to show up for yourself and the rest will follow.

I am in the process of working on mindset for me and my business. I am pivoting and essentially starting over and damn I am excited!

Sometimes I feel the same way about a week, this week was one with rough patches along the way but so much beauty. Look for it, focus on it and embrace it, you will see a difference in your attitude.

I told you Chai Latte's were my favorite, not just for the taste but I love the smell. Now I have found a way to have the smell without the calories. Using essential oils you can recreate almost any smell without the toxicity of a candle. ⁠

Give it a try, make up a blend. Whatever speaks to you put it together in a diffuser and see how it smells and more importantly how it makes you feel. Don't be afraid to try new blends, it doesn't have to be what I love, but what you love is what you will use. Take the oils off the shelf and use them.⁠
