I know that I sort of dropped off the face of the earth here for a while.. But much like how I tend to take a lot of detours with my art and work projects, my life tends to almost never follow an easy linear path either. The most recent example being this little cancer detour that I am currently taking.... So while I take that detour and go and kick some cancer a**, I have put the shop on vacation mode and you will not be able to purchase anything. It's not quite the "lounging on the beach" kind of vacation that I would like to be taking right now, but beggars can't be choosers I guess 😆...
So on that note, if there are times where I have a break in treatment and I'm feeling ok, I fully plan to open the shop back up for those stretches. As I'm sure it would be nice to have a little extra money coming in at a time where so much is going in the opposite direction.

With all of that being said, if anybody needs help with a past order, or anything, please feel free to reach out... Seriously... I would be more than happy to help in any way that I can.

In honor of the Festive Holiday Season, and in keeping with my sparkling yet sarcastic personality... I did a little edit on my "Ew People" design for all of you out there just not feeling it this year (or any year for that matter)...

Some of the Book Totes I've made this week... 🤗

Obviously the lighting for the videos wasn't the greatest, but I just wanted to show detail with them... and I think they worked for that. The first one especially. When I designed it, I made the writing in glitter, and it actually printed and still looks like glitter. I thought that was pretty cool that it worked.

This is why it takes me so long to finish a sketch. My, "oh look, a squirrel" brain has too many tabs open to only focus on one thing ... But, the good thing about lots of tabs is that the shop gets lots of new stuff. Like this bag that I just finished today. I do want to state that I did not draw the "thinker statue" for this design. Could I have? Yes... But sometimes I like to support other artists and their businesses. And when they have exactly what my brain was thinking of, I will buy their art to incorporate into my design. I also will not take credit for someone else's art, so the thinker statue was originally a solid black SVG, that I bought from, and was designed by "SouthForksSVG" on Etsy. So if you want to check them out while you're on Etsy picking up this snazzy new bag (😉😉😉) they've got a lot of great stuff.

The second day of just working on a small section on his jacket (because "Holy Stitching Batman!!" 😳)....
So I said to my husband while I was working on it, "if I ever run into Iggy Pop, I'm going to have to have a talk with him about his jacket choices"... 😆 Then I was like, Uh... yeah right... If I ever ran into Iggy Pop, I don't think jacket choices would be on my laundry list of things I would want to talk about.
But then in reality, I would probably just look like this 👉🥹, stumble over my words like an idiot, and say something like, "Iggy Pop, you're my hero"... 🙃
Because I'm just cool (and by cool I mean socially awkward) like that... 🤣

I had PLANNED on working on my Iggy Pop sketch this week..... and....
Well, I was going to start this by saying "I took a detour", but I seem to take detours quite often, and if you are always taking detours is it really a detour, or just your path? 🤷‍♀️
Anyway, yes I really DO want to get my Iggy piece done. But on Monday when I got the order/made the "My Weekend Is All Booked" Tote, it reminded me that I had a "I Have No Shelf Control" design/tote in the shop that I absolutely hated. Yes it happens. You design something and you like it for a minute, and then you hate it... So needless to say, instead of working on Iggy this week, I designed two new "I Have No Shelf Control" Tote Bags, and they are now available in the shop.
I like them so much more, and I really hope you like them too. 🤗

This is the first time I've had my photo mats out in a while... But I had a request for a print and I always aim to please.
Luckily she just wanted it on photo paper (which I had from my photography days) or I would have been in trouble. 😬
