Day 10 - Finally heading home!
We watched a ton of people out salmon fishing and visited the Ulu Factory before having to leave for the airport. We had such an amazing trip and folks are right - Princess is the WAY TO GO for an Alaskan cruise. Getting on and off the ship was so smooth and efficient, both during the port days and for the embark/disembark. We got on and off twice in Juneau since it was a 12 hour port day.

Day 9 - Whittier/Anchorage
✔️ Disembark - such a smooth process!
✔️ Wildlife Conservatory Shuttle - moose, bison, bears, porcupines, reindeer… oh my!
✔️ Chugac National Park
✔️ 49th State Brewing - another spot with AWESOME gluten free options
✔️ Trolley City tour
We learned SO much from our tour guides today. I could tell you all about boretides, salmon fishing, the number of pilots and seaplanes, and a HUGE earthquake that shattered the entire area in 1964. We planned to spend an extra night in Anchorage so we opted out of the cruise ship transfers to take a wildlife tour on the way to Anchorage instead - it’s about 60-90 mins from where the ships dock in Whittier to Anchorage.

Day 8 - mostly at sea, then College Fjord
✔️ Ship activities until we arrived: Zumba class, Trivia games, Learned magic tricks
✔️ Lots of pics of the beautiful scenery
✔️ Looking for bears, moose, etc.
✔️ Ice calving (huge ice chunks falling off of the glacier into the water)
