🕯I have lived in eight different apartments since I left my family's home for college in 2008. Needless to say, I love to move. Every time I tell someone I love to move, they just can't believe it. I think they imagine the long process of packing and unpacking or the hassle of changing addresses. What excites me most, though, is beginning anew. I value meeting new people, learning about their stories, and discussing how they came to be in that particular space at that specific time. Lately, It's been fascinating to see my current city in a new light as I learn new areas more intimately. I appreciate the opportunity to try new local restaurants I had never been to before moving. I even love the little things, like how the sun sets on my plants differently because of the new apartment layout and window placements.

The energies in my new spaces are usually lively and welcoming. But, I acknowledge that this is not always the case for everyone, which can be why people loathe the process. I thought about that as I created "New Apartment." New Apartment is a mixture of sage, rosemary, vanilla, and lavender fragrance. Sage cleanses negative energy and protects against airborne bacteria. Sage also improves moods and relieves stress. Rosemary boosts a person's concentration, performance, and helps with respiratory problems. On top of internal benefits, rosemary keeps your space free of unwanted and harmful insects. Lavender adds a calmness to your area and boosts emotional and mental wellbeing. Vanilla reduces signs of anxiety and depression and deepens relaxation. On top of that, vanilla is also an aphrodisiac. 😜

I created this candle for those of you who, like me, love to move and want to ensure that your space is filled with positive energy and vibrations. I created it for those who may need to cleanse the energy in their current spaces. Maybe you need a change. Perhaps you're vibrating at a different level and want your space to match your rhythm. I also created it for those of you who dislike moving. I hope that lighting this candle eases your mind and helps you envision how this new beginning can bring so much joy and peace to your life. 🕯

🕯Fall is my absolute favorite season. Im not sure if its my favorite because I was born in the heart of Fall or because Im finally able to wear cute booties and jackets! Lol, I just know that I love to feel the Fall sun shine on my face and the breeze flow through my locs. You know what? It’s probably all of these things!

Fall has given me sooo many heartwarming memories. Im reminded of high school mornings when my older brother, , and I would ride the X2 Metro bus to Minnesota Avenue station. Sometimes we would stop at the Yellowbrick Deli to get one of their breakfast sandwiches. Omg, best breakfast sandwiches ever, other than Montello Deli of course! Fall reminds me of all of the talks during those bus rides and how blessed I am to have such a thoughtful and protective brother.

Fall also reminds me of college. My good sis, , and I would drive from NC to DC for Thanksgiving. We would marvel at the beautiful orange, red, and yellow leaves on the trees as we drove up I-85. That was my favorite part of the trip. Well, that and the whole concerts we’d have on the way.

At this point in my life though, Fall is full of yearly reflection and giving thanks for all of the memories and blessings God has given me. So, I really wanted to create a candle that set the tone for reflection and gratitude. “Dear Fall” is that candle. The full scents of pumpkin, vanilla, and cinnamon create a space perfect for mindfulness and relaxation. To top it off, the wood wick mixed with the scent makes you feel like you’re laying in front of a fireplace with your fluffiest throw blanket, drinking a hot cup of vanilla chai. This candle is definitely one of my faves. Every time I make these candles, they fill my home with pleasant smells even when the lids are on.

My hope is that when you light this candles you start to love Fall just as much as I do. And that it makes you look forward to this time of the year, every year. 🕯

Happy Monday! Take time this morning to set an intention for your week!

Although the fragrances of Glow with the Flow candles are undoubtedly one of their top benefits, you can also use some of these candles to set intentions for your life. Intention candles are used as a manifestation practice in which they transmit the energy you send and want to receive in return. Anything you put into the world is what you will receive.

Red rose sets an intention for love. Whether you set an intention for love that’s Eros (romantic or sexual love), Agape (God’s immeasurable love for us), or Philautia (self-love) red rose illuminates that intention. Lavender sets an intention for health, love, and peace.
