Gotta love living and working in a community that supports its own. When the East Islip Library saw a sale I was running, they decided to replace its aging flagpole, AND they chose a flagpole made in the USA and installed by a local East Islip company and crew. The old pole had been standing since 1967 and had given us plenty of problems over the years with many repairs, but it was time for something new.

What I love most is that projects like this do more than replace a flagpole. They support local jobs, local families, and local pride. One member of our crew has a two year old son, and years from now he will be able to point to that flagpole and say, “Your dad installed that.” Those are the kinds of connections that make a community special.

Thank you to the East Islip Library for supporting local businesses and local workers. We are proud to have played a small part in helping our community display Old Glory for many years to come. Go USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
