Gratitude is the attitude
The week leading up to an event is always a bit nutty but this week been exceptionally nutty. Tears were shed (mine and by myself) but if you know me - I cry easily and also digress just as easily…clearly.
I showed up Thursday two hours to setup for this weekend’s VMD Of Connecticut two hours later than expected and that was two hours I really needed to set up. I was a hot mess, stressed, and just feeling super “wtf am I doing.”
BUT
Amanda of VMD Of Connecticut her amazing crew helped me reset my mindset - truly. Everyone was super positive, supportive, and helpful.
These shows are a lot of work for us - and yes, amazing customers showing up is a part of it - but having super stellar people to work with is the what makes the hustle a whole lot easier.
So thank you every one for showing up. So grateful.

I have diffused the situation.

Reed diffusers are ready to rock and will be rolling with me to this weekend’s VMD Of Connecticut
These have been a long time coming and I’m so excited to share them with you. Thanks to everyone for helping me pull this off.

I’ll have them in the shop, online, and available for wholesale next week.

Whenever I write about .buds products, I always say that they are inspired by nature. Now the packaging reflects that too. All the shades of Spring are starting to peek up here in and I couldn’t resist adding some of that to my world.

Dearest Reader,
It has recently come to my attention — rather embarrassingly, I admit — that I am late to the Bridgerton game. I only began watching the show this year. A shocking delay, I am sure, and one that would no doubt send the ton into a flurry of whispered speculation. But alas, even a woman of good sense can be fashionably late.
Yet the moment I reached that scene — Daphne and the Duke confessing “I burn for you” with enough heat to set the drapes aflame — I felt a spark of inspiration worthy of Lady Whistledown’s own quill.
Naturally, I turned it into a candle.
So here it is, dear reader: my ode to longing, smoldering glances, and declarations that make one swoon. A candle that burns… quite literally… for you.
Warmly (and with only the slightest hint of scandal),

Without further delay, introducing
I Burn For You

The classic trope of Victorian literature always starts with a spark. A glance held too long. A feeling that refuses to stay politely in the background. Before you know it, the whole ton is talking.
If this candle could talk, it would simply say:
I burn for you.
Just like Daphne Bridgerton said to Simon Basset — because, well… Bridgerton.
