This is a Canadian Centennial Rifle (check out our previous video). The bolt has 2 rails on each side that will wear as it is used and opened. You will see the bluing (the protective coating) wear off as well with use.

Looking at the 3rd and 4th photos, you’ll see the “lifter” and the bolt face. If it has been fired, you’d see brass markings or a brass circle.

This is how you can tell that this rifle has never been fired!
