We’re going to be real with you… because Aspen deserves that. And so do the dogs still waiting.

As much as we want to keep saying yes to every dog in need… we can’t do it alone. We are a foster-based rescue, which means without fosters, our dogs sit in boarding. And boarding isn’t just stressful for them — it’s incredibly expensive for us. Every day a dog stays there is another day we risk not being able to say “yes” to the next one who needs saving.

Right now, we need our village. We need YOU.

Aspen is one of those dogs who needs out.
He’s just a baby — around 10 months old — full of energy, full of life, and he loves other dogs. He should be running around a yard, crashing on a couch, learning what it means to be part of a family… not sitting in boarding waiting for his turn.

Yes, Aspen resource guards his food, water, and crate — but honestly, who wouldn’t want their space respected? This is manageable. Feed separately, give him his own safe space, and you’re already setting him up for success. He’s young, he’s eager, and he will learn. As he learns no younger kids would probably be better. And we will be there to guide you every step of the way.

But none of that matters if he doesn’t get the chance.

We are asking — no, begging— you to help us help him.
