These have become one of my favorite things to make!

Honestly, I never would have started making belt buckles if it wasn’t for Emily. Fun fact, this buckle was also for an Emily! 😆

This was a surprise gift, and it can finally join my feed!

The conversation went a little somethin’ like this:
“Can you make a horse-themed necklace with turquoise?”“Get me a photo of her favorite horse’s face dead on, and I’ll let you know when it’s done!”

I wanted to make a silhouette of her horse Sancho’s head with his cute ear shape. He’s a blue roan without a blaze, I had no idea how I’d make this HIM.

I ultimately decided to teach myself to shade silver like a portrait, because that’s what my 🤎 told me this pendant needed to be.

I’m so stoked with how this turned out. Custom projects like this are always an adventure!

Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all! Thought I’d throw some blue in your feed to break up all that pink. 😉

Hey y’all! I figure it’s about time I did a “meet the maker” post.
I’m Tiffany, and I’m the silversmith behind High Voltage Ranch. I’m also the food lady for horses, mini donkeys, dwarf goats, chickens… and a 16 year old football player. 😆

The high voltage name stems from high voltage power lines, as my 🤠 is a lineman.

This venture started with another silversmith jokingly telling me to quit buying her stuff and to make my own. In 4 days, it’ll be 3 years since officially deciding to sell my work to others. I am so SO thankful for everyone I’ve met on this journey and for everyone who’s trusted me to create for them.

My style is influenced by traditional Southwestern jewelry but with an edgy modern western flair. I primarily work with turquoise, but you’ll definitely see other materials from time to time.

Along with my work, you’ll also find vintage Native American jewelry (my obsession) and a few modern Diné (Navajo) creations in the shop.

This year, I plan to focus on gaining more visibility as an artist and business. We donate a portion of proceeds to a local horse rescue, so the more we grow, the more support we can provide!

My first belt buckle was a labor of LOVE! It’s going to a mustang wranglin’ cowgirl who also happens to be a lineman. How freakin’ badass is that?!

Nothing beats knowing the endless adventures this buckle will travel and the horses it’ll see. 🤠🤎
