BIG NEWS!
We are thrilled to announce that Hemingway Accoutrements has merged with its parent company Barberry Coast.
Barberry Coast, the company behind Hemingway Accoutrements, was started 9 years ago, and it became the catalyst for beginning Hemingway Accoutrements on January 1, 2017.
After much consideration, we decided to combine and simplify our operations. Forgoing the Hemingway license allows us more freedom in designing new products with greater potential than ever before! This is a massive step for us that will allow us to focus on other areas in which the company can grow more effectively without having extra overhead costs consuming resources from you - our valued customers and supporters!
It's now official, we are no longer licensed to use the name and likeness of Ernest Hemingway.
While we have been honored and humbled to have represented the Ernest Hemingway name for the last 5 years, we are incredibly excited for what is to come. We believe you will be as well.
WHY HAVE WE MADE THIS DECISION?
There are a number of reasons. Not least of which, it is a difficult task for our small family-owned business trying to keep up with customer service, production, product development, and marketing for two different companies. It has become increasingly difficult to manage both. Add to that the increasing minimum guarantee and royalty payments, and the overall restrictive nature of the Hemingway licensing agreement we feel this is the best direction moving forward.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
At the core, this is a brand name change with some great benefits for you. The same great products and fragrances you know and love are now available at BarberryCoast.com - minus the ‘Hemingway Accoutrements’ and ‘Ernest Hemingway’ branding and labeling. Those products are now branded, labeled, and packaged as Barberry Coast - The Signature Collection.
As an example, the best-selling 'Hemingway Signature Collection' EdP cologne is now named 'Finca Vigía - The Signature Collection' EdP cologne and is available at BarberryCoast.com/finca-vigia. It is the exact same formula, with the exact same ingredients, and with the exact same scent - it no longer bears the Hemingway name.
You will also see significant benefits in the following areas:

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR US?
Well, it’s still business as unusual but with much less stress, headaches, and financial burden. Tina and I are still the owners and our staff remains the same.

Tina and I set out 9 years ago to supply the best high-performance shaving products on the planet to people just like you. Along the way, we expanded our product offerings to include bath and body products, skincare, and fragrances. We have some Grand plans for new products and stellar fragrances, and we are so happy you get to come along for the ride.
