Hi friends! 👋🏻 Lots of new faces around here so I thought I’d do a quick (a day late) and share a few fun facts about me!

I’m Whitley and I have always had a passion for lettering and calligraphy. Growing up I was constantly doodling and would write my name on any notebook or flat surface I could find. In 2016, my sister asked me to create all of the signage for her wedding which finally brought my dream business to life. 📝✨

1. I work full time in insurance and absolutely LOVE my job and my work family! Shout out to the best State Farm team! 🏡🚗

2. I have a twin sister who is my best friend...wouldn’t be here today without her letting me use her wedding as my first big project. 👯‍♀️

3. Speaking of my sis—I am OBSESSED with my nephew Beckett and love living the aunt life. Can’t wait for my new niece or nephew to be here this summer! 💙💕

4. I loooove Mexican food and margaritas and could seriously eat it 7 days a week. Not kidding—authentic Mexican, Tex-mex, Taco Bell..you name it 😜🌮

5. The beach and the lake are my happy places! If I ever disappear for a little bit you can probably find me on 30A or Center Hill Lake. 🏝🚤

6. I have been skydiving in Bled, Slovenia and it was THE BEST experience. 10/10 recommend! 🪂

7. Most nights you can find me working on orders until at least midnight and binge watching my guilty pleasures—REALITY TV (hit me up for some recs...my favs are anything Bravo, Survivor and Big Brother) ⭐️📺

*cheesy post alert* A little over a year ago I was toying around with the idea of turning a small hobby into something bigger. I never dreamed that I would be where I am tonight—reflecting on almost a year of Whitley Writes and resting up after my first official event as a vendor. I am so grateful to those of you who give me the opportunity to brighten up a spot in your home, provide a gift for a friend or create those special pieces for important events in your life. And a HUGE thanks to those of you that came out and said hey at MTCS today! Stay tuned for more big things coming up for the rest of the year! ✨

What could be better than doing a little Christmas shopping? Shopping while snacking on freshly made Croissants, of course! So excited to be partnering with for the Whitley Writes Pop Up Shop! Stop by 2034 Prestwick Dr Murfreesboro, TN 37130 TOMORROW from 1-4 to pick up some Christmas gifts and take home some of these delicious croissants— The Brookery’s new flavors Salted Caramel and Nutella will be featured and I️ can’t wait to try! ✨Happy Sunday! Now taking pre-orders for custom doormats!✨ These personalized mats are the perfect way to welcome family and friends into your home and also make great housewarming, wedding, & Christmas gifts.
Each 18in x 30in mat is hand-lettered and painted and will be sprayed with a protectant sealant. Please allow 2-3 weeks (tentatively) processing time as I will be making these in the order I receive them. Please comment below if you would like one and I will DM you for custom details. Local Murfreesboro pickup or a small delivery fee depending on your location in Middle TN/Nashville area! Custom mats: $40 each
Plain “Welcome” or “Hello” mats: $35

Simple wood pieces are definitely one of my favorite things to letter on! Been working on some custom orders this weekend, but this "It Is Well" sign is still available for $12!
