Honored to be one of a select few in the States to carry C. Atherley, the British bath, body, and home fragrance brand founded by Cath Kidston. The name is taken from her maternal grandmother in celebration of the botanical legacy left by the women in her family. The origins lie in Cath’s passion for scented geraniums grown in her Gloucestershire greenhouse, whose fragrances form the heart of the collection. The tag line, from greenhouse to bottle could not be more true. My love of scented geraniums makes this a perfect match at Watson Kennedy.

{Wine & Dine Wednesday} When we were visiting our friends in Sun Valley a few months ago, Jennifer made a potato crusted quiche that I flipped over. It was perfectly timed, as I had been seeing lots of recipes for them lately, and was really wanting to try one. This is my first attempt, and I will continue to make more to tweak things—making it time and again to perfect it. Link in stories as well as TedKennedyWatson.com

{Ted’s Tip No. 579} Choosing a lampshade can often be a challenge, as it is not a task you have to do often. One way is to pull a tone or color from the room where the lamp will be lit. Here, we thought a color shade that had some of the tones that were in the painting it was going to sit next to. It does not need to be a perfect match, but if it is in the same family, the eye ties the two together. —from the daily blog at TedKennedyWatson.com

{My Favorite Things Today} The French Open aka Roland-Garros Tennis Championships, the inspiration for this {WK 30 assemblage} on this last weekend in May. Be it a tennis racket bottle opener, an original painting, a vintage French match striker or a hotel silver tray to serve drinks on, and so much more in honor of the game and country that holds such special places in my heart. —Ted (All of the goods pictured are on the front page at WatsonKennedy.com)

{Flower Friday} this week about a layering of things that we accumulate over the month we are here. A gathering of plants and herbs and stems and fruits to bring life to our dining room, which is the center/heart of the house. We walk through the space all throughout the day, so I like it to be extra visual, where our eyes are given a treat wherever they land. We bought a bunch of geraniums the first week we arrived. This one was the tallest and works perfectly at the end of the table where this vignette began. A bundle of mint found yesterday from the Six Hands Farm Store in a vintage beaker from Red Chair. Meyer lemons, our favorite, a gift from our friend Audra. The peonies have yet to bloom in the front of the house, so TPS clipped one for me to play with. It is living on top of the book stack. We have two big asparagus ferns in the living room that get super leggy, which we really love, but often one stem gets cut and called into action in another room. A vintage bottle fit the bill and it lives on top of the white metal shelf adding a green in an unexpected place. While none of it has actually flowered, the combo brings buckets of joy from pretty simple things. Everyone have a fab last weekend in May! XX, T2+H

Our vintage shopping days always includes a few stops along the way. Big fans of Willa’s and wanted to dine in their new spot at Glen Falls House. Our lunch was heaven and their new home pretty perfect. Our niece Aisling has a dear friend since childhood who opened up a farm store with her husband and two other couples, hence six hands. We love supporting our local farms and growers, as they are such a big part of our enjoyment of the region. Their store was brimming with baskets filled with produce from their farms. Along with local bread, coffee, granola and much, much more. We left with oodles of goodness to enjoy this upcoming weekend. Life at
