I received some very sad news today when I learned that my cousin Clyde Manley had passed this afternoon. Clyde was really good guy. After he returned from Vietnam, he started Civil War relic hunting in the early 70s when very few people knew what a detector was. He got me addicted in 1974. We had a lot of fun, found some nice relics and had a few adventures including, believe it or not, an encounter with a big rock throwing Big Foot.
I'm really going to miss him. He went home in god's time but way too soon for those left behind. Thank you for all the memories Clyde.
