Ya’ll, the DRAPE!

This is Lux Silk Fi*****ng in Spill the Tea and she is doing exactly what I needed her to do. 100% silk, light, fluid and a little extra in the best way.

Also… I actually sewed in the ends. If you know me, you know that’s a big deal. This one deserved it. The lace knit up so beautifully I couldn’t not finish it properly.

Pattern is Polera Brotes by Anariky Negrete (and yes, it’s in Spanish, and yes, you can absolutely make it work with translation tools).

Fresh off the needles!

This top was knit in Lux Silk Fi*****ng in Spill the Tea, 100% silk and just over one skein. It’s currently soaking before blocking, but I already love how it’s coming together.

The pattern is Polera Brotes by Anariky Negrete. It’s written in Spanish, but translation tools made it very manageable.

I keep thinking about Saturday.

Becky came by on LYS Day, asked to meet me, and then showed me this blanket she knit with my yarn. She could name every colorway 🥹

This is the part no one really talks about when you’re dyeing alone in your garage. You don’t always get to see where it ends up.

Getting to hold this and hear her talk about it meant more than I can explain.

Seeing it all come together at Fuzzy Goat 🐐

The Misurina sweater by Caitlin Hunter, knit in After ‘While and Spill the Tea, front and center, with loads of bins of KnitWise in the background ready for LYS Day.

They set this up so beautifully. If you’re coming Saturday, you’ll have plenty to dig through 💛

Squish Silk 🤍

This base is squishy and drapey with a soft sheen that really lets the color shine.

A new base, just in time for spring.

This is my first time dyeing non-superwash fi*****ng, and I love how they turned out. Bright, fresh tones with a soft, springy feel that holds its shape beautifully.
